If you are an IT systems administrator, chances are that your fellow work peers outside of the IT department might not have a clue that there is even a SysAdmin Day... and thus you won't get recognised for all of your hard work. But don't worry! Each year we run a contest to select a SysAdmin of the Year! Check out the contest this year.
